Even at the beginning of its establishment, UKVE has contributed a lot to the development of technical and vocational education in the UK since the issuance of its first vocational training certificate in more than one hundred years of storms, which can be summarized in the following three aspects.

（1） Pioneer

After the establishment of UKVE, its development track is different from that of ordinary guild schools. On the whole, it has always taken standardizing professional standards, carrying out non-profit vocational training and promoting industrial development as its own responsibility, maintaining the characteristics of the guild, persistently developing professional standards and supporting training required by various industries, and becoming a pioneer in the development of technical and vocational education in the UK.

UKVE, by virtue of its good relationship with the industry, through joint establishment of research, the establishment of a development committee, carries out investigation and research on technical and vocational training, and on this basis, reviews the syllabus, researches and develops new technology fields, and keeps pace with the times. It not only strives to adapt to the needs of society and industry, but also strives for the development direction of technical and vocational training, and its developed professional standards are accepted by the majority of enterprises and society, The professional qualification issued has been sought after by all sectors of society from the beginning.

（2） A new force 

 UKVE is a new force in the development of British technical and vocational education. In the second half of the 19th century, Britain only implemented indirect management of education. UKVE became a partner in education management and decision-making. It cooperated with the Education Committee in five aspects, including curriculum planning, student registration, teacher assessment and appointment, supervision and supervision, and teacher qualification. However, it is still a professional certificate issued by the United Kingdom, which mainly focuses on technical and vocational education and training, and complements other certification groups. The certificate issued involves dozens of fields such as agriculture, commerce, management, medical care, architecture, artistic creation, all of which have been recognized by the United Kingdom, the European Community and many others, and become a "green card" for job selection with high credibility. These facts irrefutably show that UKVE is a new force in British technical and vocational education.

（3） Experience base 

 In the 1980s, the vocational qualification (NVQ) and general vocational qualification (GNVQ) developed by the United Kingdom, to a large extent, drew on and even inherited the hierarchical division and standard model of the UKVE system, and obtained at one stroke with the help of UKVE and its similar development momentum. UKVE has also played a positive and important role in the implementation of these two kinds of products. At present, half of the hundreds of seven levels issued by UKVE are British Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and General Vocational Qualification (GNVQ).
